My name is Frankie Nobles and I have been employed with Vance County for over 12 years. I began my career by helping Vance County by boarding large animals from cruelty cases at my farm located within Vance County. After a year of board large animals, I was offered employment as an Animal Control Officer. I gladly accepted and began my career on January 4, 2010. On October 5, 2012 I became interim Chief. On January 1, 2013 I became Chief of Vance County Animal Services.

I have led our Animal Services Department into a new era by helping construct a new Animal Shelter in 2016. I have led and established a Spay and Neuter program for our community to help with our counties over population of unwanted pets. I do speeches for different groups, schools, and community events to discuss everything from animal safety to spay and neuter. I enjoy helping other departments and Counties when they need assistance. I have been able to help our euthanasia rate go from approximately 90% to 10%. I received the Animal Control Officer of the Year Award in 2017 from the North Carolina Animal Rabies Control Association.

I am married to a beautiful lady named Lindsay who is a Detective with Franklin County Sheriff's Office. We have a 5-year-old son named Austin and I have a 26-year-old daughter named Priscilla. My wife and I have established a successful catering business named Nobles BBQ -N- Catering that started out as just a hobby. When I am not working or catering, I love spending time with my family, hunting, fishing and cooking.
