Kelli Oakley has been employed with the Person County Animal Services since October of 2003. She started out as an Animal Control Officer and moved up to an Animal Cruelty Officer then started working in the shelter in 2012 as an Adoption Rescue Coordinator. Shortly after she became the Animal Shelter Manager and in 2019 became the Animal Services Director.
She is happily married to her husband Charlie of 11 years, and they have 4 wonderful kids and one grandchild. They have a bloodhound named Polly Rose used for search and rescue, a yellow lab named Suzi and a shih tzu named Nelli.
She has a passion for fishing, hunting and spending quality time with family and friends.
